The entrance ticket to Rancho Texas is great value for money as you get a great family day out full of excitement and there is so much to see and do at the Rancho Texas Park. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Is an impressive size and is immaculate throughout. Rancho Texas park runs popular shows several times during the day which are all included in the ticket price. Shows like the new Dolphin Show, the Cheeky Sea Lion show, a Live Birds of Prey Show, and the Parrot show are some of the most popular shows in Rancho Texas.

Rancho Texas dolphins show

The crowd's favourite at the Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park is the Dolphin Show. This is a new attraction and rather than a show it is more like an educational presentation where you can see the amazing Rancho Texas dolphins and learn how they behave.  There are four adorable bottle-nose dolphins who arrived in the Lanzarote zoo in November 2016 from Duisburg and Nuremberg (Germany). They were born in captivity and the enclosure that Rancho Texas has built for them is out of this world.

Rancho Texas Sea lions show

Another well-loved show in Rancho Texas is the Sea Lion Show. This is such a fun show as you meet Brutus and his colleagues as they put on a comical performance for you. You can even get a photo and a quick kiss from them as they love to pose for the camera with you.

Rancho Park Lanzarote (The Parrots)

The parrots were some of the first to arrive at the park when it opened so they have seen all the changes over the years, and have been entertaining visitors of Rancho Texas for decades. Their comical and interactive show is just amazing to watch as these clever birds perform a number of intelligent tests and fly around among the crowd. You will laugh and be in awe of these amazing parrots and what they can do. They will also come round for photos and sit on your shoulder or arm so they too can become Instagram famous when you share your pictures.

The birds of Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park

The Birds of Prey Show is also a popular feature of Rancho Texas Park. Here you will have an outdoor presentation of some remarkable birds of prey, As the handlers tell you all about these amazing birds they will fly them above your heads and they will glide into the crowd almost touching you. This is an incredible opportunity to see birds of prey this close up. Gasp as the likes of eagles, speedy falcons, vultures even a condor (the largest of birds) fly over your head at a very close distance!

Another show at the park is the Parrot Show. At the Parrot Show which is indoors, you can see these clever parrots and cockatoos entertain you with their demonstrations. Again it's opportunity time to get a photo with the parrots as the photographer will come round and let you hold and be the perch for two or three colourful Macaws. All the shows at Rancho Texas are included in the ticket price but there are opportunities to actually interact with the dolphins and swim with the sea lions so keep reading we will tell you how.

Splash Zone at the Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park

Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park also features a SPLASH ZONE water park. The splash zone that has swimming pools, slides, and water activities feels great after wandering around the park watching the shows and just enjoying all the exciting things there are to do at Rancho Texas like pony rides or take part in canoeing. The splash zone is where you can cool off in the massive pool area with a huge splash bucket that fills up and splashes anyone who stands beneath it. It is a great option to cool down and relax in hot Lanzarote weather! Don't forget to bring extra clothes, towels, and sunscreen so you can enjoy the Lanzarote Rancho Texas waterpark to its fullest. It also has two twisting slides which cascade down from the mountains, which is sure to get you wanting to try again and again.

The swimming area and giant pool also is the location for one of two restaurants on-site at the Rancho park, prices are excellent too, really good value for a theme park, and excellent quality.

Interactions with Animals at Rancho Texas

As we mentioned there is the opportunity to book in advance some animal interactions with the sea lions and the dolphins. Photos with the parrots, sea lions, and the dolphins will be taken and charged for on the day but if you really want to have the most magical experiences on your holiday then we highly recommend booking an interaction with the Rancho Texas dolphins or swimming with sea lions. 

The Rancho Texas dolphin interaction experience

Here you get to meet the Rancho Texas dolphins up close and personal. Diego, Darwin, Noah, and Kai whilst this is not swimming with dolphins you will become a trainer for the day teaching them tricks, commanding and feeding them, and really getting to know them. The trainers will be on hand to make sure the experience more than memorable. The interaction with dolphins Lanzarote needs to be booked in advance as there are limited spaces so you can book with us and your ticket will include a pick up if you need one, entrance into the park for a full day, and the dolphin interaction. All children must be accompanied by an adult on the interaction and all children must be over 8 years old.

Swim with sea lions at Rancho Texas Lanzarote

If you fancy getting in the water and experience swimming with some of the habitats at this Lanzarote zoo then you 100% want to book the swim with sea lions experience here you get to work with the trainers and get to know Brutus and the family as they swim alongside you and you can stroke and play with them and get lost in a magical world. Again this experience needs to be booked in advance as there are very limited spaces but when you book it includes everything you get for the full day out at Rancho Texas.

The new video interaction and education zone at Rancho Texas

This is the latest attraction to be added to the already amazing Lanzarote zoo and is so state of the art that many people around the world are talking about it. Enter the magnificent cave that has been purpose-built under the dolphin enclosure. Here you will see the giant tanks and amazing light, sound and video interactive presentation where you can press buttons, answer questions and feel like you are in another dimension. Walkthrough holographic lights into volcanoes and see the earth, wind a fire presentations all cleverly designed and interactive. This latest addition the Lanzarote park just shows how committed Rancho Texas is to being the number one attraction in Lanzarote.

As well as all of the above there are also small attractions around the park-like pony rides, zip lines, canoes and you, can even search for gold nuggets in the mine which you exchange for a free gift at the Rancho gift shop.

Where to eat at Rancho Texas Park

There are two main restaurants at the park, one situated in the splash park and one situated where they do the big night shows and the parrot shows. Both have a really great menu with food to suit everyone and at very reasonable prices for a theme park. Rancho Texas doesn't allow you to bring food from outside the park, but the prices are not what you would expect to find so you will be more than happy. There are also a number of vending machines around the park for drinks and ice creams, also very well priced.

Are there Lockers at Rancho Texas?

Rancho Texas Park has lockers available for your personal objects in the Souvenir shop. To use this service just pay 2 Euros and leave a deposit of 5 Euros which will be refunded after returning the keys.

Does Rancho Texas provide Wheelchairs?

This Lanzarote zoo also provides wheelchairs for less abled customers free of cost and can be obtained from the souvenir shop after filling in a utility form.

Is there a lost and found at Rancho Texas?

If you seem to have lost something during your visit to the Lanzarote zoo, don't hesitate to pass by the main entrance where the park officials shall take your contact information to call you in case of finding the said object.

Where is the customer service at Rancho park?

Customer services at the Rancho Texas park are situated at the entrance and there is staff on hand to help with anything you need. This is also where you meet the bus for returning to the resort.

Can you take Photos and Videos at Rancho Texas?

Photos and Videos are allowed inside the Rancho Texas park unless indicated otherwise by a sign or member of staff. If you wish to take home a souvenir of the exhibitions please use the park's photo service that will take place at the show points indicated on the map before or after the exhibitions. You may locate these photos in the Souvenir shop at the exit of the park and can purchase photos at the cost of 5 Euros per photo.

Is there Baby Buggy Parking?

There are special areas available to park baby buggies, indicated in the Fast Food zone and by the shows.

Can you get food and drink at the Lanzarote zoo?

There are 2 main restaurants one near to the bird of prey show and the largest and one at the splash park, both offer the same menu and prices are very reasonable around �10 for a meal and drink.

What time does Rancho Texas park open?

Rancho texas park opening times are 9:30 am to 17:30 pm every day 365 days of the year. They don't close for any holidays and are even open on Christmas and New Years day so you have no excuse not to visit the Rancho Texas Park when you are in Lanzarote.

Rancho Texas country and western night

By Night the park becomes the place to go for line dancing and everything country and western with the Rancho Texas country and western night. This is the oldest show in Lanzarote and ideal for all the family and all age groups. Be entertained by live music, dancers, cowboys and Indians and get to try line dancing too. The night included pick up from at or close to your accommodation, a free bar of beer, sangria and soft drinks all night and belly-busting BBQ. So you can see Rancho Texas is the home to many great things so get yourself booked for your complete day out. Lanzarote Rancho Texas Theme Park is a TravelON World star excursion and comes highly recommended, especially with families but is suitable for all ages. You can book skip the line entrance official tickets and save time if you choose to make your own way or are staying in Puerto Del Carmen.
